Indian WPC Certification

2020-11-10

The Indian WPC certification is an organization that enforces the wireless regulations in India. All wireless products must obtain the approval of WPC before they can enter the market.

Wireless products in India's wireless certification are divided into two modes: ETA (Equipment Type of Approval) certification and License licensing. The criteria for determination are based on the working frequency band used by the applied equipment.

For the frequency bands that are freely accessible, an ETA certification is required; if the device uses other non-free-access frequency bands, such as GSM or WCDMA mobile phones, a license needs to be applied for.
