Regulatory Update | Update of CQC Certification Implementation Rules for Lithium Batteries

On April 27, 2022, the China Quality Certification Center released the revised version of the "CQC11-464112-2015 Safety Certification Rules for Secondary Batteries and Battery Packs for Portable/Fixed Electronic Devices". 

The main changes are as follows: 1. Added the lithium battery certification standards for fixed equipment batteries other than those used in portable products; 2. Extended the validity period of the certificates to 5 years; 3. Modified the certification logo.
