According to the SEMI S2 standard, for locations where hazards cannot be eliminated through design or where safety devices are needed to reduce risks, hazard warning labels must be provided; these labels should be durable and suitable for the intended use environment. 

Exception: Some hazard label formats and contents are determined by laws and regulations. For instance, laser labels, chemical hazard labels for specific national uses, may not comply with the requirements of SMEI S1.
