EUROPEAN ROHS INSTRUCTION EN/IEC 62321 STANDARD TESTING AND APPROVAL PROCEDURE
The EU ROHS Directive standards IEC 62321-7-2:2017 and IEC 62321-8:2017 have been released.
On March 28, 2017, the International Electrotechnical Commission released the testing standards for the ROHS directive, namely IEC 62321-7-2:2017 and IEC 62321-8:2017, which respectively specify the testing methods for hexavalent chromium and phthalates.
IEC 62321-7-2:2017 replaces Annex C in IEC 62321:2008 and is a method for determining the hexavalent chromium content in polymers and electronic components using colorimetry.
This method involves dissolving the sample in an organic solvent and then extracting hexavalent chromium from it through an alkaline digestion process. IEC 62321-8:2017, on the other hand, uses GC-MS or Py/TD GC-MS to detect phthalates (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DIBP) in electronic and electrical products.

The processing procedure for obtaining the ROHS directive EN62321 inspection report for lighting fixtures:
The applicant fills out the application form. Our Yibo Testing Company can provide free blank application forms.
2. The testing engineer determines the testing cost based on the provided material color.
3. After the customer confirms the quotation, both parties sign the contract, and the samples are mailed. Then our company begins the testing.
4. Test passed, certificate report issued.
