How to use the FCC logo correctly? Did you use it properly?

2024-10-15

There are currently two versions of the FCC Logo. Which one should be used? How should it be used? Is the previously used version still valid? Today, let's take a look at the correct usage requirements for the FCC LOGO. ?

Q

Has there been any new change to the FCC logo currently?

A: Currently, there are no new requirements for changes to the FCC logo. It remains as stated on the FCC website, with a total of 2 logos, as shown in the following image:

First, the acute-angle FCC logo is divided into three colors

第二,直角的FCC logo

Q

Under what circumstances would a right-angle FCC logo be necessary?

A: For all products that have undergone SDoC testing, the FCC Logo as specified in Section 2.5 of KDB 784748 should be used.

The equipment complies with the requirements of the SDoC program. It is not necessary to affix the FCC logo on the label. Affixing the FCC logo indicates that the product fully meets the requirements of the SDoC. If the product has not undergone a conformity assessment, the FCC logo cannot be used for this product.

2. If the equipment has passed the conformity assessment and meets the program requirements of the SDoC, the FCC logo can be printed on the product label or it can be omitted from the product label.

3. The use of the FCC logo does not replace the "identification of product uniqueness" and "compliance information declaration" required by the SDoC program.

4. As mentioned in 15.103, the exempted equipment cannot use the FCC logo. Only when these exempted devices undergo a comprehensive conformity assessment in accordance with the SDoC procedure can they use the FCC logo.

Q

Under what circumstances would a sharp-angle FCC logo be needed?

A: The logo for the "Sharp Angle" is exclusively used by the FCC. All official documents issued by the FCC will feature the FCC's emblem or logo.

Q

What if we used the acute-angle FCC logo before?

A: The FCC official has confirmed that the labels on the products must use the black right-angle logo as specified in KDB 784748. The products that have already been shipped can use the acute-angle FCC logo without any risk. However, it is recommended that the customers correct the labels on subsequent products to the correct FCC logo.
